MEMO FOR DECEMBER 2004                                                        



This memo is just to keep you up to date on this weekend and the next meeting.


Sunday 5th December at 12.00.  Meeting at Victoria Roche for our Christmas Treasure Hunt.  As well as the Bumpstart Treasure Hunt Trophy and a Wooden Spoon, there will also be a smaller trophy for best dressed mini, whether it is a Christmas theme or another one.


You may also want to take along a passenger for help in finding the clues and reading the route.  This event has been popularly requested and it would be lovely if as many as you could make it especially as this is the last main event of the year.  


If your mini is off the road, and you would still like to take part, your alternative form of transport is also welcome.


Hopefully this should be good fun and I look forward to seeing you.


Sunday 5th December at 7.00pm, Meeting at the Victoria, Roche for our Christmas meal.  For those of you that have already booked please try and arrive by 6.45pm. For those of you that havenít booked but would like to join the other 30 members that have then please telephone Nick (at the Victoria) on 01726 890207.  You will need to choose from the menu which is


Starters-Chicken and Leek Soup/Melon/Haddock Mornay


Main-Turkey/ Beef/Trout/Aborigine and Parmesan Pie


Sweet- Christmas Pud/Fruit Custard Tart/Choc Cheery Brandy Charlotte


All finishing with coffee and mints.


All this comes to a price of £15.95 per person, which you will need to pay when booking.

The Next meeting.


This will now be on Sunday 9th January 2005 at 7.00pm at the Victoria.

We have lots of events that we can attend next year, and we need to get everything up revved up and back on track, and this needs lots of people and ideas.   We also need to update the Website.  This takes a lot of hits and at the moment we donít have much to other, is you have any funny photos; project photos and witty ditties please let us have them.
